No cords
The US window covering safety standard, in effect since June 1, 2024, ends free-hanging operating cords on custom window coverings. We build to it.
Our story
We make roller shades that fit inside your window frame and hold by tension. Nothing is drilled into your window, your sill or your wall. You measure, order online and put it up yourself.
Why we built it
We are partners who have worked together in the window treatment industry for more than a decade, on homes, multifamily buildings, hotels, schools and healthcare projects across South Florida.
One problem showed up on nearly every new build. The building had just received its new hurricane-rated windows, exactly as specified. The first thing the job called for was a hole in the frame to hang roller shades. In most cases that hole voids the window warranty the day the shade goes up.
The other option was to drill the wall or the ceiling instead, which brought its own questions. The same shade might land on concrete block in one opening, drywall in the next, wood in the one after that. Before hanging anything, you are working out whether the material behind it can carry the weight.
What we built instead
The US window covering safety standard, in effect since June 1, 2024, ends free-hanging operating cords on custom window coverings. We build to it.
The shade holds by tension against the inside of the frame instead of into it. No holes in the window or the sill. No brackets to anchor into concrete block, drywall or wood, and no guessing whether what is behind the wall can carry the weight.
With no individual brackets to get level and plumb, fitting the shade is the whole job. No appointment, no crew, no waiting on a schedule.
Good to know
Every order is covered by our own policies and our 1-year warranty.
We do not offer measuring or installation. You do both yourself, with our guides.
Not every window can take a no-drill shade. Check the depth and sides of your frame first.
Who we are
We still do project work, on homes, multifamily buildings, hotels, schools and healthcare projects across South Florida. No Drill exists because the fix we needed on those jobs did not exist as a product, so we built it and made it orderable online.
