Can renters hang shades without drilling?

Yes, if the window frame fits. A no-drill shade presses on the sides of the frame, so there are no holes. The frame needs at least 3 inches of depth, firm, flat sides and nothing in the way.

Why skip the drill

You can't see what is behind a rental wall

It could be drywall, plaster, wood, concrete or metal. Each one needs a different drill bit, screw or anchor.

Guess wrong and the screws can pull loose. Or you end up with extra holes to patch.

A no-drill shade skips all of that.

Straight answers

Do I need to drill to hang these shades?

Not with No-Drill Inside Mount. It presses on the sides of the frame, so there are no holes. Our Traditional Bracket Outside Mount does need a drill.

Do I need tools?

No tools needed to install the No-Drill Inside Mount. You will need a tape measure to measure your window.

Will a no-drill shade fit every window?

No. The frame needs at least 3 inches of depth, with firm, flat sides. Check for locks or handles in the way. No room in the frame? You may need a shade with brackets, and that means drilling.

When will my shades arrive?

Each shade is custom made to order. Most orders arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.

What if I measure wrong?

We remake that shade for 50% off its price. This is one time per shade. Ask within 30 days after it arrives. If our measuring guide caused a bad fit, we fix it free.
